About the Author

Like the Porsche 917, it is hard to find a book on the Ford GT40 that doesn't repeat itself. This format of how to assemble and repair a Ford GT40 is a novel way of presenting information that is interesting and new. Don't expect any racing history, but if you want to know how the car was built, this book explains most of it.
I purchased this for my husband as he just recently purchased an old gt-40 as a restoration project. He’s used the book for reference many times! Money well spent!
Another good Haynes "manual," which is to say, a thorough insightful look at The GT-40 accomplish with the normal depthof all the Haynes books.
I bought this book to provide a photo reference for a model of the Ford GT40 that I will build. It is adequate for that purpose. Overall, this is an excellent, balanced book on the GT40. Highly recommended for fans of the car.
