39 years ago the original was an invaluable tool for me as a new mother. This copy is for my daughter who has not had her baby yet but she thinks it will be very helpful. I am convinced that it will be a lot more helpful than she realizes once the baby is born.

We've use this book with our kids and now our grandkids. Not read cover to cover, rather used like a reference manual. Look up issues and get great advice. Sure, the web works too, but the book is really well organized and provided our family with a lot of help.

I love this book! As a new mom, this book is really helping me understand my new baby...what’s normal, what’s not, and when to call the doctor.
