My son finds this practice practical when using it on the kindle because he can refer to the meaning just by highlighting with his finger. Which is better then flipping pages of a dictionary
Good. Cheap and easy to use. Some of the "best" answers are a little off but it's not too bad. At least, the practice set trains the kids to look for the best answers.
Before purchasing this one, we had purchased 3 different paperback ISEE test prep books from different manufacturers, all from amazon and among the ones that come up top from a keyword search. They're all equally good, but... BUT they are quite expensive and they all seem to have fewer pages than you'd expect for the price.This Kindle book is as good as the other paper books we bought, but it is much, much cheaper.Not only is it cheaper, it is also superior in this sense: you can long-press words and a dictionary pops up. You can also highlight words in color, so you can quickly go back and find them.We are reading them on an iPad with the Kindle app. But I also briefly read them on my Macbook. Either way worked flawlessly.For some reason my wife's account did not have access to the Kindle purchase option. Not sure why that is. She was only given the option to borrow it as a library book and pay a subscription. We preferred to buy the books as they were cheap and we don't expect to read other books on the iPad. So we used my account, where I have registered my Kindles in the past and I was able to make a final purchase for just 2.99. Great price! But you may find the library subscription attractive.
