My son loves going through these cards and started learning his colors the same day we received them! I like that they are thick and glossy and therefore sturdier than plain flashcards because he's really rough on them sometimes and we've only had to repair minor tears on a couple of them. I will definitely buy the more advanced version once he's mastered these.

They are very simple, however, they mix Kanji and Kana together. I don't find it particularly bothersome but I would have liked if the word was not written in romaji in the front. I love the poster and the flashcards themselves are sturdy and fairly large. Plus the CD has about four song which are absolutely fun!!. I will definitely buy the second box.

Chart is really big but kids like it! The flash cards are nice and we haven't yet used the CDROM. The vocab is super basic. Familial names, numbers, etc., but great for starting out!!

I LOVE these cards. They are see thru, and thin, but they provide great aids in learning Japanese.

these are great! Great Grandmother teaching her 13 year grandson Japanese. She loved these!

This is nice quality and my 10 year old is actually learning from the flash cards. The poster is proudly hanging in his room.

Having a blast going over these flash cards, helps out knowing some Hiragana first then going into these. Really helps when learning another language, in my eyes that is.
